Broker model

AME Mechanica LLC is an independent broker. We do not buy, sell, stock, or take title to aircraft parts. You purchase from the seller of record (for example, a manufacturer, distributor, or repair station).

Returns, refunds, credits, and warranty claims are governed solely by the seller of record's policies and your agreement with them—not by AME Mechanica as broker.

1. AME Mechanica's role in returns

What we may do

  • Facilitate communication between buyer and seller
  • Assist with return authorization requests
  • Help coordinate replacement parts
  • Provide documentation support

What we do not do

  • Accept returned parts
  • Issue refunds or credits
  • Authorize returns independently
  • Handle warranty claims directly

2. Suggested return process

1

Contact us promptly so we can put you in touch with the correct seller of record

2

Work with the seller to confirm whether a return or exchange is available

3

Obtain any required return authorization (for example, an RMA) from the seller

4

Ship or return the item only as the seller instructs

5

The seller applies its own policy to inspection, restocking, refund, or replacement

3. Seller return policies

Each seller sets its own rules. Common examples include:

  • Time limits (typically 7-30 days from receipt)
  • Restocking fees (usually 15-25%)
  • Original packaging requirements
  • Unused and uninstalled condition requirements
